I wanted to send you a note of thanks for your amazing work in assisting us in finding great tenants for our office. We had tried filling up the offices on our own and found that we had few takers, and the few who were interested did not seem to be the kind of people who wanted to share an office building. We were, therefore, both relieved and delighted when you brought in so many great potential tenants so quickly! We had empty offices for two years, and you managed to fill them in two months. Since that time, the tenants have worked out extremely well. Everyone pays rent on time and respects the shared conference rooms and facilities. Your professional assistance and advice made a difference in our monthly bottom line regarding real estate expenditures, and we are extremely grateful for your help. We will continue to refer clients your way and wish you great success in the business.

When and why did you begin a career in commercial real estate?

A former swim coach and mentor felt it was a path I would enjoy and was on a mission to recruit me to Texas, having grown up in the Bluegrass State. I began working as an analyst for a local investor during the financial crisis of 2008. There is no better time to learn and practice the fundamentals than an economic downturn.

What do you specialize in at ECR?

Office & Healthcare / Leasing & Sales. I currently advise clients with 1 – 25+ locations, providing a tailored approach to their specific needs.

How do you approach client relationships?

Since we do not own or develop real estate as a firm, I can only rest at the end of each day knowing I gave the best service to my clients and made their lives easier. Staying one step ahead of the process and constant communication throughout is key to building long-lasting and sustaining relationships. When I treat clients this way, the relationship is reciprocated, and many have turned to friendships throughout the years.

What has been your greatest accomplishment during your career?

Often, with accomplishments, there is a certain amount of luck involved. I feel lucky to have begun my journey with ECR in its infancy, and I’ve put in great effort to grow our culture and platform daily. Consistency is key in this regard. It has allowed me to give back to the community in countless ways and help create a wonderful life for our family in Austin.

I can rest at the end of each day knowing I gave the best service to my clients.
