Matt Levin is the Founder and CEO of ECR, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in Austin, Texas. Since founding the company in 2010, he has helped lead its growth from a one-person startup into one of the most active and diversified commercial real estate services firms in Central Texas—offering services across brokerage, leasing, sales, property management, property accounting, building engineering, and construction management.
Matt’s focus is on serving the incredible team at ECR and its amazing clients, ensuring ECR consistently delivers the best services across the board. He is passionately dedicated to leading through continued progress, learning, and growth – building strong relationships built upon these principles.
Matt is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) and has been recognized as a top performer in the Austin market. Beyond his professional work, he is deeply engaged in leadership and personal development, having been a member of Strategic Coach for over five years, one of the world’s leading entrepreneur coaching programs. He is also a past member of EO Austin and a current member of YPO Waterloo, where he collaborates with peers on leadership and business growth.
In addition to his industry work, Matt serves as a guest lecturer for both the Baylor University Business School and the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School’s Master of Real Estate program, where he shares practical insights on real estate, entrepreneurship, and leadership with the next generation of business leaders.
He strives to give back, having helped found both ECR Serves and the Friends of the Austin Nature & Science Center. Both organizations have a profound and lasting impact on the Greater Austin community.
Outside of work, Matt is an avid reader, curious traveler, painter, and hiker. His personal philosophy is shaped by an ongoing pursuit of Stoic and Taoist principles that inform his approach to leadership, relationships, and life.
