Matt is a native Austinite with extensive market knowledge of Travis county and has been active in the commercial real estate business since 2004.

When and why did you begin a career in commercial real estate?
In 2004, after graduating from business school at the University of Texas with a degree in marketing and finance, I completed the interview process at GSD & M and decided it was not where I wanted to be, so I followed in my father’s footsteps and entered the commercial real estate business. I have been doing it ever since.
What do you specialize in at ECR?
I specialize in investment sales and user sales across all business lines, as well as landlord representation for office and industrial owners. I have built a very loyal relationship with my business-owner clients over the past 19 years and exclusively represent my principals throughout Texas.
How do you approach client relationships?
With compassion to serve each individual to the best of my ability with integrity, hard work, and a true drive to serve their best interests over all else.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Playing golf, cooking, gardening, and spending as much time as possible with my wife and my two boys.
I have been in the business through the highs and lows and always retain a passion for what I do.
