From the beginning, the team at ECR took the time to understand our specific circumstances and evolving needs. We had just completed our first fundraising round and had plans to ramp up hiring beyond the capacity of our current space. ECR worked diligently to come up with an array of solutions, one of which allowed us to remain in our current space while taking on additional, neighboring spaces over time as we scaled. ECR helped negotiate terms that allowed us to match our lease commitments to our hiring plan and in turn, meet our budget requirements.

Jason and Haley handled my asset sales listing and marketing from idea through sales execution. They intelligently and delicately handled the nuisances of my existing tenants’ needs, while creating a broad marketing platform to attract the right buyer. They provided me with guidance and the experienced consultation to make the deal work, while always keeping my interests as their client a priority. I got undivided attention and focus and felt as though my asset was always their priority. I was beyond impressed with their performance and the results, and have, and would, use them time and time again.

We have worked with Haley Smith for several years on our office needs in the Austin Central Business District. She has assisted us in negotiating numerous leases for office space as well as subletting excess space we no longer needed. She has done an exceptionally good job for us. Haley performs her work with the highest of integrity and professionalism. She knows the market well and is respected by her peers. Haley is a pleasure to work with.
Haley Smith was awesome working with us in finding a new office space. We had very specific needs that limited the possibilities for us. She worked diligently to find us something that exactly fit our needs. Then she was instrumental in getting the lease negotiated and keeping things on track so we could meet our deadline for moving. I completely recommend her.

When and why did you begin a career in commercial real estate? I began my real estate career in December 2013. After graduating college, I moved into commercial real estate brokerage, where I am still today and feel very fortunate to have a career I am passionate about. I enjoy working with people and problem solving.
What do you specialize in at ECR? I specialize in office leasing and investment sales. We are in a service industry and I work to serve my clients as best as possible. Hard work and great, consistent communication are requirements. I also view relationships as long-term, and to be sustainable and satisfying they must be productive and enjoyable for all parties. I strive to build real and genuine relationships where I truly know and care about my clients, and they feel the same way towards me.
Through brokerage, I have learned to be entrepreneurial, to have grit and persevere, and to never give up or become status quo.
It’s not just a one-time transaction for me,
it’s a long-term relationship.
