Haley Smith has provided commercial real estate services with ECR since 2013, specializing in office leasing and tenant representation. She advises clients on all aspects of their real estate needs, including new leases, expansions, renewals, buyouts, purchases, subleases, and relocations. Haley works with both office and medical users and is known for her strategic approach, attention to detail, and ability to negotiate complex transactions.
Haley has earned the prestigious SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors) designation—an achievement held by only the top commercial real estate professionals worldwide, making her one of Austin’s leading experts in office leasing and tenant representation. She has been named multiple times by the Austin Business Journal as a “Heavy Hitter,” featured in the Austin Business Journal’s “Profiles in Power,” and honored as an “Austin Under 40” nominee.
Outside of ECR, Haley serves on the Elizabeth Ann Seton Board and is active in The Vine Austin Church. She previously served on the Make-A-Wish Austin Regional Board, where she helped grant more than 300 wishes annually for Central Texas families. She also formerly served on the board of the Commercial Brokers Association and remains involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities and Africa New Life Ministries.
Haley received her B.A.S. from Indiana University, where she studied Communications and Marketing.



From the beginning, the team at ECR took the time to understand our specific circumstances and evolving needs. When and why did you begin a career in commercial real estate?
I began my real estate career in December 2013. After graduating college, I moved into commercial real estate brokerage, where I am still today and feel very fortunate to have a career I am passionate about. I enjoy working with people and problem solving.
What do you specialize in at ECR?
I specialize in office leasing and investment sales. We are in a service industry and I work to serve my clients as best as possible. Hard work and great, consistent communication are requirements. I also view relationships as long-term, and to be sustainable and satisfying they must be productive and enjoyable for all parties. I strive to build real and genuine relationships where I truly know and care about my clients, and they feel the same way towards me.
