Caitlin (and the brokers at ECR) are the best brokers I’ve worked with in any market. They are strategic, responsive, and always put the work in to turn something around quickly. We are venture-backed, so it’s a constant challenge to balance adding space when we need it and not over committing. They have made it easy, and I look forward to solving the next challenge with their help.

Caitlin is a rock star! She helped us find an awesome office space in downtown Austin to start our operation in the city. The job wasn’t easy, we had some very specific requirements and a short time frame to find the space. Caitlin was always on; she made the time to always be available and was very responsive and proactive. She’s very knowledgeable about the Austin market and knows the right questions to ask about a space that we didn’t think about which was a great help during our search. I would absolutely work with her again.

Caitlin Gary and the ECR team went above and beyond to find our space. We whole heartedly trust her and will be going back to her for our future endeavors. She is not only a joy to work with, but she is an expert in her field and will make the process as simple as possible for you. You want to work with someone who understands how valuable your time is, and Caitlin is always on the ball. Highly recommend.

When and why did you begin a career in commercial real estate?
The decision to move into commercial real estate was one made with curiosity, great intentions and through dialogues with dozens of people I admired in the industry. After being a top producer in various sales roles over the years, and spending hundreds of nights on the road in that work, I started to miss my hometown of Austin and was watching it change and “grow up” without me. I wanted to be a part of this exciting growth and there were new companies moving to Austin making a positive impact that I wanted to support. There were also local businesses that I cared about, and I knew needed help as Austin’s lease rates climbed to some of the highest in the nation. I left a great tech startup in 2017 to join ECR, which shares in my passion for building genuine relationships through service, integrity and care and I have been loving every minute since.

What do you specialize in at ECR?
My work is primarily in representing tenants in their office and retail leasing decisions.

What has been your greatest accomplishment during your career?
While we continue to have big wins throughout the negotiation processes with clients, I take most pride in the relationships that have formed out of this work. To serve as a long-term partner and trusted resource when it comes to what is often a company’s second largest line item in their budget, their commercial real estate strategy, is what I purpose to accomplish.

I help my clients make decisions that will have a meaningful impact on their business today, tomorrow and for years ahead.
