The ownership at The Aztec, located at 201 E Commerce Street, has completed new building improvements on the riverfront project. The exterior improvements include a new 1,400 SF private terrace above Crockett Street, overlooking The Riverwalk.
In addition to exterior updates, there have been significant improvements to the office floors, offering 30,729 RSF of space ready for tenant build out.
“The Aztec offers up to 4 private office floors, which will allow for a tenant to better manage its environment. This is especially important as companies plan their office space in this new environment (post COVID-19),” explained Albert Vazquez, the building’s leasing representative with ECR. Any tenant who leases all office floors will have a private building lobby entrance and significant street presence along Commerce St.
The Aztec, which was built in 1926, is a historic focal point in San Antonio’s entertainment scene. The central location in downtown San Antonio allows tenants to be near popular restaurants and amenities, including the Aztec Theater on-site.
Vazquez stated, “The local ownership recently made several upgrades to the building, including a private terrace space overlooking the Riverwalk as well as improving the office spaces available. The Aztec office space is priced well and is one of the lowest lease rates in the downtown area. There are several parking options within close proximity as well, making The Aztec a very attractive lease offering.”
The renovations and construction have taken place over the past year, in partnership with Guido Construction and Overland Partners.
ECR and the ownership are excited to welcome office tenants to the Aztec.
