04/04/2019 ECR News

ECR has seen substantial growth in many facets of its operations in recent years. In line with its goals to continue to strengthen, grow, and deepen its roots in Central Texas, the commercial real estate firm is proud to announce that Jason Steinberg and Patrick Ley have been named as partners in the company.

Jason and Patrick will further bolster the leadership at ECR, allowing the company to continue its commitment to smart, strategic growth through client focus and strong business relationships. “It has been extremely rewarding to work on behalf of many successful entrepreneurs and businesses in addition to several non-profits with tremendous missions since our inception in 2010. Our team at ECR has accomplished a significant amount together these past nine years and I am fortunate to work alongside a tremendous group of well-rounded people who encourage each other to be better than the day before,” says Steinberg.

Patrick oversees leasing responsibilities for over 1,000,000 square feet of office and medical space in addition to providing commercial real estate sales services. Through his completion of over $400,000,000 in transaction volume since 2008 and experience with multiple property types and user requirements, Patrick thoroughly educates his clients on market opportunities.

“It’s an honor to join as partner at ECR. The last nine years have been a story of relentless pursuit of personal and professional growth with the focus always leading back to increasing the success of our clients. As one of the few remaining third-party brokerages in Austin, you always know where our interests lie. The daily collaboration within the office and entrepreneurial DNA of the firm make me incredibly excited for the next chapters to come,” Ley states.

Patrick has been recognized as an Austin Business Journal “Heavy Hitter,” Austin Under 40, among other notable industry and community awards.

Ley has earned both SIOR and CCIM designations, placing him amongst the leading experts in commercial real estate.

CCIM designees are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate, having completed advanced coursework in financial and market analysis and demonstrated extensive experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Outside of ECR, Patrick serves as Vice President for the Society of Office and Industrial Realtors (SIOR) Central Texas Chapter and President-Elect for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas. He is also a member of Leadership Austin and has served as President of the Commercial Brokers Association.

Jason specializes in project leasing and representing businesses for new and existing office projects, successfully completing more than 600 real estate transactions totaling more than $425,000,000 in value.

Steinberg has also been recognized as an Austin Business Journal “Heavy Hitter” the last several years and is also involved with the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA), the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the Jewish Community Association of Austin and March of Dimes.

Matt Levin, ECR’s Managing Principal, along with Patrick Ley and Jason Steinberg all possess the SIOR designation, which provides access to a global network of more than 3,000 industry leaders who are held to the highest standard by completing exhaustive curricula that ensures expertise, prestige and trust.

For more than 75 years, SIOR has been the most trusted designation in commercial real estate, synonymous with the world’s most elite industrial and office professionals.

Levin adds, “I could not be prouder and more appreciative of both Patrick and Jason’s contributions to ECR.  They have been instrumental to the development of our firm since they joined, at which time we were a four-person team in a tiny office off Congress and 8th Street.  They have helped to dig in daily, expanding our client list to be one of the most active commercial real estate services firms in the Greater Austin area.  Further, they embody the ethics and relationship-focused approach we strive for at ECR.”

This announcement comes at an opportune time as ECR has recently expanded geographically and entered into the San Antonio market. These new developments along with a tenacious team, now 27 members strong and counting, have set the firm on an exciting path for 2019 and future years to come.
