12/14/2020 ECR News

ECR is pleased to announce that Rebecca Zigterman has been promoted to Brokerage Principal. Rebecca joined ECR as its third team member in 2010, working initially as the marketing and operations administrator as she earned her brokerage license. Having been with ECR since the beginning, Rebecca has been a huge part of the team’s success in the last ten years.

Rebecca currently oversees project leasing responsibilities for over 1M square feet of office and medical space. In addition to landlord representation, Rebecca represents tenants with their site selection, negotiation, and long-term strategy while also providing commercial real estate sales services through client dispositions and acquisitions. Since 2011, Rebecca has completed over 550 transactions and has been recognized as an Austin Business Journal “Heavy Hitter” for multiple years. Rebecca consistently leverages her knowledge, experience, care, and integrity to serve her clients and their goals at the highest level.

“Rebecca has been an integral part of the success of our building over the last eight years. Her thoughtful approach, starting with the building positioning and leasing strategy, carries through the entire leasing process to the close of new leases. Rebecca is very proactive in the showing of the building and in the follow-up of new prospects. Her calm, engaging, and responsive style has been very effective in signing new leases and in keeping the building full”, explained Mark McAllister, Principal of MM Investment Company.

In her new role, Rebecca is excited to bring a new perspective and collaborate with ECR’s leadership team, as well as mentoring ECR team members at a broader level.

Matt Levin, founder of ECR explained, “We could not be more excited to recognize Rebecca Zigterman’s extraordinary impact on ECR by her promotion to a Brokerage Principal. She represents ECR at the highest level each and every day. Rebecca understands the importance of service and care for our clients and team. ECR is better because of Rebecca.”

Rebecca also helps lead ECR’s internal volunteer and philanthropic organization, ECR Serves, which volunteers and supports several local charities throughout each year, including Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), Meals on Wheels, Mobile Loaves & Fishes, Foundation Communities, SAFE Alliance, and Central Texas Food Bank.

Rebecca served on the Board of Directors for CCIM in the past, where she also earned a scholarship in 2015. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) for three years as Secretary, and more recently, the liaison to its two local charities, RMHC and Mainspring Schools. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, watching sports, being around the water and on the Town Lake trail, and exploring Austin and its incredible surroundings.

Rebecca shared, “I am honored to be named principal at ECR and proud to be a part of this extraordinary, dynamic, and steadfast team. This year marks a decade of working alongside the hardest working people in the commercial real estate industry who also happen to be incredible people. Growing together professionally and personally has been both a joy and blessing, and I am both excited to serve in this leadership capacity and inspired for our chapters ahead.”

ECR is proud to have Rebecca serve as part of the leadership team and continue to help the company grow in her new role as Brokerage Principal.
